While I have been writing gamebooks for many years, this will be my secondphysical card game. I have always been a keen boardgame and RPG player, and as a kid I would often create my own board games, which my friends still fondly remember playing to this day.
I also happen to be part of a group of game-makers in Tokyo –where I live-. Through the continuous criticism and encouragement of our various members, we have arrived at this product. However, my hope is that a successful campaign will not only allow me to publish other games that I have in my head, but also serve as motivation to our other members to continue with their own campaigns (I am following on the steps of other members who have launched their own campaigns).
The game is practically ready to go to print, after several years of playtesting and design (in that sense, we expect to send print everything within one month of the campaign finishing). However, it is necessary to print a minimum number of games for the project to be a reality. Kickstarter makes it easy to gather in one place everybody who would be interested in backing this project, and letting us know how many copies of the game to print.
The art in all my games, be it this card game or my other gamebooks, is Tiffany Yuet. I think her take on many of the scenes and characters of my games has added great personality to the stories and games, so I would encourage to check her art:

Shipping
We plan to ship to backers directly from Japan, using mail by ship. Our goal is to get the product to our backers as soon as possible, but depending on the country this will take 1-3 months (the orders will be sent using the Japan Post Office shipping service, and thus the products will travel by sea). The cost of sending anywhere in the world is already included in the pledge, so you will not be charged for this later.
Tax:
Backers in certain countries might be charged VAT or sales tax in the pledge manager.
