Rules for 3 to 5 players (3～5人用ルール)

To play this version of the game you need to first read the main rules of the game. Then, the game is modified according to the rules below if you want to play with 3-5 players. Many people in Spain argue that actually the version below is the best version of the game!

このバージョンのゲームをプレイするには、まずゲームの基本ルールを読んでください。3～5人でプレイしたい場合は、以下のルールに従ってゲームを調整してください。スペインでは、以下のバージョンが最高のバージョンだと主張する人が多くいます。

Tute gana-pierde

There is a 3 to 5 player version of the game known as “Tute gana-pierde” (Tute win-lose, sometimes known as Tute Cabron –bastard Tute-).

The rules are basically the same as those of the 4-player Tute, with the following changes:

·        Players play individually (not as part of a team).

·        If there are only 3 players, remove all number 1 cards from the game (so that there are 36 cards). With 4 or 5 players use all cards, which are distributed to players as usual.

·        Any players that fail to win any tricks lose the round (with all other players being winners). If all players win a trick, then the ones with the most and least points are winners (any player in between are losers of that round). Any players who are tied for points at the end of the round both lose the round.

·        A player who wins a trick containing a 7 and 8 of the same suit must make a “call”. The first to make a call wins 40 points, and each successive player 20 points. The first time a call is made will determine the trump suit for the reminder of the round (i.e. before this point there is no trump suit). The winner of the last trick scores 10 points, as usual.

·        The first player to obtain three round win counter tokens wins the game (note the boxed game only has 4 of these tokens, meaning you might be short of one token, please use any suitable replacement).

トゥテ・ガナ＝ピエルデ（Tute gana-pierde）

3～5人で遊べるバリエーション「トゥテ・ガナ＝ピエルデ」（直訳すると「勝ち負けトゥテ」、別名「トゥテ・カブロンがあります。ルールは基本的に4人用の『トゥテ』と同じですが、以下の点が異なります。

• プレイヤーはチームを組まず、個人戦でプレイします。

• プレイヤーが3人の場合は、すべての「1」のカードをゲームから取り除きます（36枚のカードになります）。4人または5人の場合はすべてのカードを使用し、通常通り配布します。

• 1枚もトリックを取れなかったプレイヤーはそのラウンドで敗北となり、他のプレイヤーは全員勝者となります。全員が1回以上トリックを取った場合は、最もポイントが多いプレイヤーと最も少ないプレイヤーが勝者となり、その間のポイントのプレイヤーは敗者となります。同点の場合は、同点となったプレイヤーは全員敗者となります。

• 同じスートの「7」と「8」を含むトリックを取ったプレイヤーは「コール」を行わなければなりません。最初に「コール」したプレイヤーは40ポイントを獲得し、その後のプレイヤーは20ポイントを獲得します。最初に「コール」が行われた時点で、そのスートがそのラウンドのトランプスートとなります（それ以前にはトランプスートは存在しません）。最後のトリックの勝者は通常通り10ポイントを獲得します。

• 最初にラウンド勝利数カウントトークンを3枚獲得したプレイヤーがゲームの勝者となります（市販のゲームにはこのトークンが4枚しか含まれていないため、不足する場合は代用品を使用してください）。
